Equally important are the features they <em>didn\u2019t<\/em> include: harsh cleaning modes, bulky chargers, and expensive brush heads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\" id=\"w-node-621196dda5c2\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1400\" height=\"1400\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.fictiv.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/quip.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Challenge: Speed and Quality in Prototyping and Production<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u200d<\/strong>quip first started working with Fictiv to rapidly iterate on their us\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cGetting high fidelity 3D prints from Fictiv turned around the next day through their online portal was really critical to validating our design decisions,\u201d said May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As quip progressed into production, they worked with Fictiv to get <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fictiv.com\/injection-molding-service\">injection molding<\/a> class=\"wp-block-heading\">Packaging Design\u200d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>\u201cIt really wouldn\u2019t have been possible with traditional manufacturing channels that we\u2019ve worked through&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Fictiv also helped quip with an injection mold for their retail packaging to launch in Target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\" id=\"w-node-0b3940372ebf\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1500\" height=\"1000\" and running within three to four weeks, whereas our other partners were taking six, eight weeks just to get first-off tool parts.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>&#8220;It was a pace that I\u2019ve never really experienced that really enabled rapid change\u201d<strong>\u200d<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Fictiv manufactured the plastic caps for quip\u2019s Target retail packaging, which needed to be done in a rapid timeline of just one month. Fictiv was able to place the tool at a vetted manufacturing partner experienced with meeting tight timelines.
