With Parts Library<\/strong>, you can share individual parts via Workspaces<\/strong>, giving your team full visibility into part history and ordering activity. Once shared, team members can edit, share, download, and purchase parts directly from their own Libraries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to share a part<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Open the part details<\/strong> page for the part you\u2019d like to share.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on Share part<\/strong> in the top-right corner [Fig. 1]<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Choose an existing workspace you\u2019re a member of, or create a new workspace [Fig. 2].<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. You may share a part with multiple workspaces, including those you don\u2019t have access to. In these cases, you\u2019ll still see the part\u2019s overall activity, but you won\u2019t be able to view quotes or orders created in those workspaces.

    How to remove a part from the workspace<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    1. Open the part details<\/strong> page for the part you\u2019d like to remove.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Click on Share part<\/strong> in the top-right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Click Remove<\/strong> next to the workspace you want to remove the part from [Fig. 4]<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Important<\/strong>: A part must remain shared with at least one workspace. Before removing it from the current workspace, make sure it\u2019s shared with another workspace so your organization continues to have access.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      You can also remove a part directly from the Parts<\/strong> tab of the workspace page. Simply click Remove<\/strong> in the right-hand column next to the part you want to remove  [Fig. 5]<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
