This ensures accurate tariff calculation and import compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><strong>Landed Cost Calculation With DDP<\/strong><br><\/strong>If you choose Fictiv as the Importer of Record (IoR) under a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) agreement, the platform will show your <strong>total landed cost upfront<\/strong>, including shipping, tariffs, and duties. Fictiv\u2019s global supply network simplifies sourcing and tariff handling, helping you save time and money. Fictiv manages the import process entirely, so there are no surprise charges or extra work on your end.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><strong><strong>Importer Visibility &amp; Flexibility<\/strong><\/strong><br><\/strong>You have the option to either let Fictiv manage the full import process (DDP) or <strong>opt out<\/strong> and handle your own shipping and customs via Ex Works (EXW). This gives you control and clarity based on your preferred workflow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This guide walks you through how the new platform experience works and what to expect at each step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-it-works\">How It Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-select-a-process-amp-upload-files\"><strong>1. Select a Process &amp; Upload Files<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Upload one or multiple files as part of a single quote. 2D drawings are supported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-select-a-classification\"><strong>2. Select a Classification<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>After uploading your parts, you&#8217;ll be asked to specify their <strong>end use<\/strong> (e.g., <strong>Prototype<\/strong> or <strong>Commercial<\/strong>). Confirm Classification Display &amp; Configure Your Part(s)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a classification is selected, it will appear at the top of the delivery date selection module.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Select the process, material, and finish that best fit your needs\u2014or reconfigure your part for a different process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can update the classification at any time. Pricing will be displayed as long as parts are configured.
