Last week Fictiv participated in the largest plastics show in North America. Hosting 55,000 attendees it covered everything from materials, machines, Injection Molding suppliers, 3D Printing players, you name it.\u00a0 Definitely present in big numbers were global supply chain managers looking for the right mix of suppliers especially with new tariffs recently introduced on the EV front; sustainability managers looking at how to ensure materials are advancing and looking for recyclable or biodegradable advancements, molders looking for the best tooling partners, you name it.\u00a0 The full spectrum of the ecosystem was there and the show was big.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chinese manufacturers were there in full force, some from Mexico and even a few from Pune, India where there\u2019s a sizeable pocket of Injection Molders.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who wasn\u2019t there was US manufacturers.\u00a0 I thought to myself, either they\u2019re too busy and can\u2019t come to the shows or we still haven\u2019t made a dent with things like the IRA bill.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The introduction of the IRA (Invest in America) Bill is seen as a step towards reviving the manufacturing sector and encouraging companies to produce goods domestically. This blog aims to explore the significance of the IRA Bill and its potential to shape the future of American manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
